Whitney is a writer and advocate based in Huntsville, Alabama. She writes personal essays about identity, pop culture, and politics. Her essays have been published in Reckon South, Electric Literature, and Roxane Gay’s newsletter, The Audacity. Whitney is an alum of the Kenyon Writers Review Workshop and Tin House Summer Workshop; she is a 2023 Periplus Fellow, in the 2024 cohort of Black Embodiments Studio’s Arts Writing Incubator, and an associate reviews editor for the Northwest Review.
