Betsy Brossman is a person. She grew up in Wheeling, West Virginia where her love for 70s folk music and artistic journalism was born. Betsy is currently a lecturer at the University of Amsterdam in the Media Studies department where she contemplates alternative housing and its intersection with film and television. She can also be found volunteering at Z! The Amsterdam Street Paper sold by people experiencing homelessness. When she is not teaching, she finds joy in listening to Joni Mitchell and accompanying herself on badly-played guitar. Reach out to her to discuss any and all issues related to housing or female singers from decades past.
