Ronson Shultz was raised on stories first told by grandfathers to old to know. These stories, they would skip from tongues like stones skip from creeks that we’d drag our hands through to drink. This helped formed his aesthetic, along side the simple pleasure of just puttering around. Ronson Shultz was first introduced to ceramics at Concord University, which he then fined tuned with ten thousand turns, and ten thousand mistakes, and eventually ten thousand pots through West Virginia University where he finished his bachelors and then East Caroline University where he obtained his masters. He now lives northern Virginia, where he can often be found in his in-home studio or assisting at the Gary Bowling House of Art.
