Toy Adams began making pictures at the age of six. Beginning with a Polaroid 600 instant camera, Toy later transitioned to shooting 35mm film. These analog methods cultivate an artistic process of contemplation and intentionality. Toy’s work seeks to capture the sometimes eerie, sometimes familiar effect of everyday American life. He lives in Lexington, KY with his partner and fellow photographer, Rachel Wright, and is also a proud father to Ezra Adams.
