Emily Nestor is an amateur photographer from Parkersburg, West Virginia. She shoots exclusively with 35mm film on a trusty Pentax camera. Her goal is to authentically document what life in West Virginia looks like, in contrast to mainstream media portrayal and inaccurate stereotypes. Prior to photography Emily produced and hosted a popular podcast about a controversial case in her hometown, which was then chronicled in documentary “Citizen Sleuth” that premiered at SXSW.
